Samsung Galaxy S25 Specs, Camera and AI Features

Samsung launched the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra in early 2025 with a customized Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, One UI 7 and expanded Galaxy AI tools.

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 family consists of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The company unveiled the series in January 2025 and announced broad availability from February 7. Storage, colors, mobile bands and promotions differ by market, so the regional Samsung product page is the correct source for a purchasing decision. [1][2]

All three models use a customized Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy. Samsung emphasized increased on-device processing for Galaxy AI and camera functions. Chip branding does not make every model identical: screen size, battery capacity, camera hardware, pen support and physical design separate the S25, S25+ and Ultra. [1]

The Galaxy S25 and S25+ use 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays in Samsung’s specification tables, with adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz. The standard S25 pairs a 50MP main camera with a 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto camera. Available memory and storage combinations vary by country. [1]

The S25 Ultra is the camera-focused model. Samsung introduced a 50MP ultrawide sensor on the Ultra and promoted controls including Virtual Aperture and Samsung Log. Camera resolution is only one part of image quality; lens choice, sensor area, processing, motion, lighting and output settings all affect the result. [1][2]

One UI 7 integrated multimodal Galaxy AI functions designed to work across speech, text, images and applications. Samsung also highlighted Gemini availability in 46 languages at launch and cross-app actions. Some AI functions require a Samsung or Google account, a network connection, a supported language or later software, and service terms can change. [1][2]

The series added support for Content Credentials based on the C2PA standard for certain created or edited content. A credential can record provenance information when the workflow supports it; its absence does not by itself prove that an image is false, and its presence does not independently verify the truth of the depicted event. A useful comparison starts with size, camera needs, battery, storage and price rather than the shared “Galaxy S25” label. Check the exact regional model and current software-support terms. Carrier variants and trade-in offers can alter the effective price, while promotional cloud storage or AI subscriptions may expire after a stated period. [1][2]
